Why Most Brands Are Boring (and How to Fix Yours)
A short, sharp piece on why founders default to "professional" when what they actually need is personality. Drawing from my work at Muzo, &Again and Apex Alliance.
Branding, marketing, design, writing, fundraising, events & the occasional chaos. I make brands feel like people.
An undergraduate program built on doing. Every semester, a new country, a new venture, a new founder mindset. Less classroom, more chaos. Less theory, more receipts.
A few ventures I've poured myself into through design, marketing, growth, fundraising and a lot of late-night google docs.
Muzo is a freeze-dried fruit brand built for snackers who refuse to compromise. I led brand, marketing & on-ground growth, turning a small snack startup into a real-world sales machine.
I grew Muzo off social media first: through people, retail, partnerships and public speaking, and watched it become something tangible.
A Kickstarter-backed venture where I led campaign strategy, design and storytelling. We didn't just hit our goal, we obliterated it.
In Accra, Ghana, I helped build a social venture from the ground up. We raised funds, partnered with a small community school, and I personally designed a playground for the kids. Every swing, slide and structure drawn on a notebook before it ever touched the soil.
A sustainable fashion / lifestyle brand where I led content, creatives and community growth. I built an audience from scratch through real storytelling, design and consistency.
Essays, op-eds and the occasional rant about brands, behaviour and what makes people care.

On scarcity, joy, and why the best design briefs come from the people you're designing for, not the people paying for it.
A wall of things. Canva carousels, Procreate sketches, posters, packaging, brand bits. Some commissioned, some made because I couldn't sleep.
When I'm not building brands, I'm probably reading, drawing, walking, over-thinking, or making someone laugh.
